Personal KPI examples

A personal KPI (key performance indicator) is a number that tells you whether an initiative in your plan is on track. Below are sample KPIs for four areas of life, each with a measurement type and a modest starting target.

Choosing a good personal KPI

  • It's something you can log in under a minute.
  • It's mostly within your control.
  • The target is modest enough to hit most months. You can raise it later.
  • It links to an objective in your personal strategic plan.
